“5 Years in The Studio” 2013

New paintings, drawings & giclée prints by David Lyon

Since his last exhibition in 2008, David has continued to explore the properties of favoured media: acrylic, oil pastel, charcoal and crayon.

He says, “I find that there is a different way of working for a different idea. I like the freedom to respond to ideas in whatever medium I think appropriate. I cannot work thinking I am a prisoner of style - there is too much to explore”.

The resulting exhibition is by no means exhaustive of his output for the past 5 years but the key pieces selected demonstrate his drive and dedication to explore his creativity as an ongoing process.

The exhibition runs from 2nd October to 29th November 2013 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Many of the pieces exhibited are available as limited edition giclée prints.
